Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will host Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 29th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Friday, April 21.

With only two wins in their five matches played so far, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team has had a less than ideal start to their tournament campaign, putting them at the second-to-last spot on the points table with just four points.

Following their narrow defeat of 14 runs in their recent match against the Mumbai Indians, Aiden Markram-led side is keen to make a strong comeback and get back to winning ways.

Let's take a look at the predicted playing 11 for their upcoming match:

Openers: Mayank Agarwal, Harry Brook

The opening duo of Mayank Agarwal and Harry Brook will continue to open for Sunrisers Hyderabad in this match. While Harry Brook showed what he has in his kitty with a maiden IPL century against the Kolkata Knight Riders, he couldn't replicate the success in the following match against the Mumbai Indians.

As for Mayank Agarwal, he has not been able to find his form this season and has failed to make any significant contributions with the bat for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Coming to numbers, Harry Brook has scored 138 runs from five matches at an average of 34 and a strike rate of 136, while Mayank Agarwal has only managed to score 113 runs from five appearances at an average of just 22 and a strike rate of 108.

Middle Order: Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram (C), Heinrich Klaasen(wk), Abhishek Sharma, Washington Sundar

On paper, the Sunrisers Hyderabad's middle order comprising Aiden Markram, Rahul Tripathi, Heinrich Klassen, Abhishek Sharma and Washington Sundar is one of the strongest among all the teams in this season of the cash-rich league. However, their performance on the field has been a far cry from what was expected, with none of them firing simultaneously.

In a move to strengthen their batting lineup, the Men in Orange might consider promoting Abhishek Sharma to the number three, with Rahul Tripathi moving down to number four. While Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen have shown glimpses of their potential, they need to be more consistent to help the team reach the finishing line.

Bowlers: Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayank Markande, T Natarajan

The bowling lineup of Sunrisers Hyderabad has been inconsistent with some bowlers struggling to contain runs while others stepping up to the occasion.

T Natarajan, who was a dependable bowler in the past, has had a rough patch recently and leaked runs in the last few matches. It remains to be seen if Hyderabad will continue to trust him for the upcoming game.

Mayank Markande, meanwhile, has been an exciting prospect for the team, delivering back-to-back stellar performances since his debut. Another bowler to watch out for is Marco Jansen, who has shown promise with the ball but needs to work on minimising the runs.

Predicted Playing XI of Sunrisers Hyderabad:

Mayank Agarwal, Harry Brook, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram (C), Heinrich Klaasen(wk), Abhishek Sharma, Washington Sundar, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayank Markande, T Natarajan
