The New Zealand Tour of India has been disappointing for the home team. Despite giving glimpses of hope, India has managed to let the series slip away from them, and the big reason behind this is the lack of runs on the board.

The agitation and disappointment in the Indian dugout are understandable, as they lost a Test series at home after 12 years. A new video has surfaced from the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, in which India's batting star Virat Kohli is seen in fumes after Mitchell Santner takes his wicket, just when he was starting to adjust himself.

During the match, Virat Kohli fell victim to Mitchell Santner once more, getting trapped lbw while attempting to flick a backfoot delivery. Disappointed with the umpire’s decision, Kohli decided to challenge it with a review. However, the replays confirmed the umpire’s call, leaving him visibly frustrated, he even gave the umpire a death stare.

In the viral video spreading on social media, Kohli is seen walking in from the field, likely towards the dressing room. He crosses paths with Ravindra Jadeja right before stepping onto the stairs. After which, he slams his bat angrily on the ice box.

Virat Kohli's Form Put To Question Amid Back To Back Losses

India, who have now lost their third Test match this year at home, has seemed to be a side lacking power-packed batting. Experienced players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja have all missed their usual spark, which has resulted in criticism.

Talking about Kohli's form and performance in this series, during the first Test, the right-handed batter was dismissed for a nine-ball duck. However, in the second innings, he covered it up with a 70-run knock. Despite a fighting attempt, the Indian team lost the first Test against New Zealand.

The Pune Test started off in New Zealand's favour. However, once again, India's batting line-up crumbled under pressure, having lost six wickets for just 95. Eventually, they managed to put up 159 runs before bundling out. During this time, Kohli departed for a low score of just one run and then 17 runs in the second innings.
