Ahead of the resumption of IPL 2025, the three-times finalists, RCB, have received a massive boost as their English stars- Phil Salt and Jacob Bethell have joined the camp. Notably, IPL took a week-long hiatus because of the escalated matters between India and Pakistan. However, since the announcement of the ceasefire, IPL governing body released a revised schedule stating that the remainder of the season would start from May 17 with RCB taking on KKR.

Meanwhile, several teams are sweating hard over players' availability as some of the foreign stars have refused to return. Players such as Jake Fraser-McGurk refused to return, which forced the IPL to allow teams making temporary changes for the remaining season.

RCB Handed Major Boost Ahead Of IPL 2025 Resumption

While teams are struggling to call their overseas talent, RCB are lucky as both Phil Salt and Jacob Bethell have returned to India and also joined the camp.

"𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐳 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤! 🔥. After those jaw-dropping teasers, it’s time for the full blockbuster show!"

Tim David Returns; Hazlewood Doubtful

Not just Salt and Bethell, but RCB have been handed a major boost of Tim David and Romario Shephard returning to join the team ahead of their KKR clash on May 17. Meanwhile, Josh Hazlewood, who is RCB's leading wicket-taker this season, is doubtful for the remainder of the season. But latest reports suggest that the Australia seamer might look to come to India.

It is worth noting that Australia have a WTC final to play against South Africa on June 11 at the Lord's, which is why they might now look to focus on red-ball cricket and let go off the remainder of the IPL season.
