BCCI Unveils Schedule For Australia Women, AUS-A And SA-A Series In Bumper Home Season

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the entire schedule of a bumper home season for Indian cricket fans later this year. It is worth noting that the Indian women’s team is scheduled to host their Australian counterparts in September in a three-match ODI series.

India Men’s A team will also have its plate full in the form of home fixtures against the visiting Australia Men’s A team and South Africa Men’s A team between September and November.

BCCI unveil India A and India Women schedule

On Thursday, May 29, the BCCI confirmed fixtures and schedule of India women’s and India Men’s A teams for their hectic home season later this year. The Indian women’s team is scheduled to host Australia in a three-match ODI series, which will serve as a prelude to the 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup for the two sides.

Each of the three matches will be hosted by the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

The Australia Men’s A team will also tour India, albeit to face India Men’s A in a series of two four-day fixtures in Lucknow and three one-day games in Kanpur.

India Men’s A team will subsequently host their South African counterparts in two four-day matches at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, and in three additional 50-overs matches in Bengaluru.

Around the same time frame, the senior Indian men’s team will host West Indies in a two-match Test series in October, before flying out to Australia for three ODIs and five T20I matches later that month.

India will then host South Africa in a multi-format series from November onwards, before hosting New Zealand in January in a three-match ODI and a five-match T20I series.
