The rivalry between Australia and the West Indies will be reignited as both teams face off in the first Test of the Frank Worrell Trophy at the iconic Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, starting June 25. The match also marks the beginning of a fresh World Test Championship (WTC) cycle for both sides.

Australia, runners-up in the recently concluded WTC cycle, will be looking to continue their dominance early on under the leadership of skipper Pat Cummins. However, their campaign begins with some unexpected changes to the squad. Star batter Steve Smith has been ruled out of the opening Test due to a finger injury, and Marnus Labuschagne has been dropped for the series. 

On the other side, the West Indies are set to begin a new chapter with significant changes of their own. Middle-order batter Alick Athanaze has also been dropped, while experienced all-rounder Roston Chase has been included.

Australia Tour Of West Indies 2025: Venue

The first Test match will be played at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown. The second Test match of the series will be played at National Cricket Stadium, St George's. The third and final Test match between Australia and West Indies will be played at Kingston Stadium. 

The 1st and 2nd matches of the T20I series will be played at Kingston Stadium, and the other three matches (3rd,4th, 5th match) will be played at Warner Park, Basseterre.
