The highly anticipated cricket schedule for the upcoming Asian Games 2023 has been unveiled. In the Asian Games 2023 cricket event, the seeding of teams in both the men’s and women’s events will be based on their ICC T20I Team Rankings as of June 1, 2023. 

In total 18 matches will be played in the men's category, with 18 teams vying for supremacy. On the other hand, the women's category will feature 14 matches, with 14 teams battling it out on the cricket field. The teams' seeding will be based on the ICC T20I Ranking as of June 1, 2023.

Consequently, the Indian men’s team, holding the top spot in the rankings, will be seeded first, while the Indian women’s team will be ranked 4th. This advantageous seeding grants both Indian teams direct entry into the quarter-final stages of the tournament.


Which city will host the 2023 Asian Games?

Hangzhou's Zhejiang University of Technology Pingfeng Cricket Field has been chosen as the venue for the Asian Games 2023 cricket matches.


How many teams are in Asian Games 2023?

A total of 14 women's teams will be competing in the Asian Games 2023 at Hangzhou, meanwhile, 18 men's teams will be contesting.


Asian Games 2023 Schedule:

Under the captaincy of Ruturaj Gaikwad, the Indian men’s team will contest their quarterfinal match against the winner of Match 7, featuring the 5th and 18th seeded teams, scheduled for October 5, starting from 12 pm IST. On the other hand, the Indian women’s team will face the winner of Match 5, contested by the 5th and 12th-seeded teams, in their quarterfinal match on September 24, also commencing at 12 pm IST.
