India's left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh recently shared a glimpse of his time at Delhi Airport on his official Instagram account. In the picture, he was joined by Punjab's captain, Mandeep Singh, as they recreated the pose of the famous Bollywood celebrity ORRY.

The photo comes on the heels of Punjab's recent defeat against Karnataka in Hubli, where Arshdeep contributed with three wickets across two innings. Arshdeep and Mandeep adopted the 'Orry Pose,' a trend associated with the Bollywood personality ORRY, who has been making headlines for his interactions with star kids in the film industry, gaining popularity on social media.

Notably, both Arshdeep and Mandeep played pivotal roles in making history by clinching the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last year, ending Punjab's 30-year trophy drought.

Arshdeep earned acclaim for his noteworthy performances in South Africa, emerging as India's highest wicket-taker in the ODI series against the Proteas. As the year of the T20 World Cup unfolds, it becomes crucial for Arshdeep to maintain his stellar performances. He is poised to don the blue jersey for India soon, with the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on the horizon.

With the final T20I series against Afghanistan preceding the marquee event, Arshdeep has secured a spot in the 16-member T20I squad. The India-Afghanistan T20I series is scheduled to kick off on January 11 at the I.S Bindra Stadium in Mohali, Arshdeep's hometown. Having already taken two wickets in two games against Afghanistan, he aims to continue his impactful performances.

Since his debut, Arshdeep has consistently been India's leading wicket-taker in the shorter format, showcasing his ability to swing the ball both ways. As expectations rise, the young fast bowler's form will undoubtedly be a focal point, with fans expecting a significant contribution from him, much like his impactful role in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
