England failed to defend the T20 World Cup title they won in 2022, as the Three Lions suffered a defeat against India in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024.

It was a disappointing campaign for the Three Lions. Further, England cricket is in turmoil as the Jos Buttler-led side also faced an early exit from the 2023 World Cup.

In the latest events, there were reports that the ECB is mulling over replacing Jos Buttler as England's skipper over his fitness issues and poor performance. Meanwhile, the reports also suggested that Mathew Motts might also lose his job.

Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, and Aussie Veteran Mike Hussey were reported as potential contenders. In the latest developments, Wisdom posted a report that the bookies in England have cast their votes and made Flintoff as their top choice to replace Motts as the new England head coach.

Of the potential candidates to replace Mott, the odds of Flintoff taking the job are put at 6/5 by William Hill, with Hussey in second place at 3/1. Three candidates are tied for third place on the list, with James Foster, Trott and Simon Katich all at 5/1. Morgan is still listed as a candidate at 8/1.
