Andre Russell To Leave KKR & Join 'This' Franchise Ahead Of IPL 2024? Here's Evidence

As per emerging reports, veteran all-rounder Andre Russell could leave Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League season. Russell, who has been an absolute match-winner for KKR, is likely to join Sunrisers Hyderabad for the IPL 2024. He has recently started following SRH's social media handle on Instagram, adding fuel to the rumours. 

Hailed for his incredible all-round attributes, Russell has amassed 2204 runs for the franchise at a magnificent strike rate of 174.92. He has also been fruitful with the ball, scalping 95 wickets at a strike rate of 14.56. 

However, he was miserable in the IPL 2023, managing 227 runs at a horrendous average of 20.64. His adversely affected KKR's campaign, as they failed to qualify for the knockouts. 

Therefore, considering his recent form, it won't be surprising if they let him go and rebuild the team ahead of the 2024 edition. 

The IPL trade window is open and it's yet to be cleared if it's a cash deal or SRH will swap any of its players with the two-time IPL champions. The released players will be up for grabs in the mini-auction likely to take place in Dubai next month.
