Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star all-rounder Andre Russell was recently seen dancing to the tunes of the franchise co-owner Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ movie’s hit song ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’. The cricketer, who is plying his trade for the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) for the ongoing CPL 2023 season, seems to be celebrating his side’s qualifier win over Guyana Amazon Warriors in Providence.

Russell’s IPL franchise KKR shared a short 15-second video of the cricketer grooving to the song to celebrate his team’s CPL 2023 success.

Andre Russell, who shares a close camaraderie with KKR and TKR co-owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, danced to the tunes of the actor’s latest mega-hit ‘Jawan’. The cricketer hit the dance floor and unfurled some of his dazzling moves to the movie’s viral song ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’.

The video instantly went viral on social media, garnering nearly half-a-million views within the first six hours of its upload on X (formerly Twitter) by the KKR franchise.

Andre Russell, who has been an integral part of KKR since IPL 2014, joined the team’s sister franchise TKR for the 2022 CPL season.

The Trinbago Knight Riders franchise have already qualified for the finals after defeating table-toppers Guyana Amazon Warriors in the playoffs. They will now face either the Amazon Warriors or the Jamaica Tallawahs for the title clash on September 24.

The much-awaited match will be played out at the iconic Providence Stadium in Guyana.
