The CWI (Cricket West Indies) has announced a 15-player West Indies squad for their upcoming five-match T20I series against the visiting English team. Set to be led by Rovman Powell, the series will feature the return of charismatic all-rounder Andre Russell for the first time since the conclusion of the 2024 T20 World Cup earlier this year.

On Friday, November 8, i.e., just a day prior to West Indies’ series-opener against England, CWI has unveiled its 15-player squad. Stacked with a slew of global T20 stars, the West Indies squad also features the return of white-ball powerhouse and dashing all-rounder Andre Russell.

Set to be led by Rovman Powell, the West Indies squad consists of a number of hard-hitting radicals in the form of Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Brandon King, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope and comeback man Russell himself.

Here is a look at the entire 15-player West Indies for the T20I series against England:

Andre Russell played the last of his 82 T20Is for the West Indies back in June this year during the 2024 T20 World Cup. The 36-year-old all-rounder has picked up 60 wickets in his decorated career and has clobbered over 1,000 runs at a staggering strike rate of 163.70.

West Indies, under the leadership of Shai Hope, recently won its three-match ODI series against England by a 2-1 margin with wins in Antigua and Barbados.

The two teams will now collide in a series of five T20I matches between November 9 and November 17. The first two T20Is will be hosted by the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados before the action shifts to the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet for the final three games.
