Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Ambati Rayudu has once again trolled the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) franchise, this time by sharing a hilarious captain on social media.

The cricketer-turned-commentator also shared a picture of CSK superstars Ravindra Jadeja and Ajinkya Rahane where the two can be seen making a gesture indicating their fifth IPL title win from 2023.

Earlier this month, Rayudu mocked RCB fans for their over-the-top celebration after knocking CSK out of the IPL 2024 playoffs race.

He said that some RCB fans celebrated the occasion as if they have already won the IPL 2024 season, and jokingly urged the CSK franchise to concede one of their five trophies to the Faf du Plessis-led group.

After Faf du Plessis and co. crashed to a four-wicket defeat against Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator, the former Indian cricketer once again took a brutal dig at RCB by saying that aggressive celebrations will not be able to win them any trophies.

A day after RCB’s tournament-crashing defeat to Rajasthan Royals in the all-important Eliminator, Ambati Rayudu took to his Instagram account and shared a picture of Jadeja and Rahane gesturing CSK’s fifth IPL title win from the 2023 edition of the tournament.

Apart from the celebratory picture, Rayudu also shared a witty caption that reads:“Just a kind reminder from the five-time champions. Sometimes a gentle reminder is required.”

Rayudu’s social media post in contention was evidently aimed at RCB, considering his recent IPL 2024 feud with the fans of the franchise.

After securing just one win from their first eight league games of the season, RCB registered six wins in a row to qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. In their final league match, they upstaged defending champions CSK to knock them out of the top-four race.

However, RCB’s dream run was hampered in the Eliminator by the Rajasthan Royals on May 22.
