Chennai Super Kings is one of the most successful franchises in the Indian Premier League history and boasts of passionate and loyal followers. This dedication is demonstrated in the video shared by CSK that features S Ramdas, a 103-year-old man, whose love for CSK and cricket shines brightly.
He is an enthusiastic fan of the sport and spends time watching the IPL matches even today at this age. Ramdas, who was part of the Army of the British Military, was scared of playing cricket but loves to don the CSK jersey and catch a game of IPL in front of his television set.
In a light-hearted and heart-warming video shared by Chennai Super Kings, a 103-year-old fan flaunted his love for the franchise and the legendary cricketer MS Dhoni.
He even expressed himself and stated that he wished to meet the wicket-keeper batter, MS Dhoni, a dream shared by many fans across generations.

In 2024, Ramdas will turn 104 and also spoke about the fast-paced nature of T20 cricket adding it does not drag on like other traditional formats of the sport.
“While I was studying school, I was interested in cricket. But I was also afraid of getting hit. I used to bowl. “I love cricket, but I am afraid of playing cricket. I watch it on TV. 20 overs games finish quickly. They don’t drag on. I like it."
Chennai Super Kings will play its next match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 28, 2024. CSK is currently placed in the 5th position in the points table and has registered four wins in eight matches. The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led franchise will aim to build momentum and try to win the remaining matches.
