Improved outings in the subsequent two editions fetched him over 500 runs combined in IPL 2021 and 2022 from 20 innings. The elegant left-handed batter also crossed the 50-run mark thrice in the process, and maintained a strike rate of nearly 150 in 2021.

The IPL 2023 season marked Yashasvi Jaiswal’s spiritual second coming into the Indian T20 carnival, as he seemingly found his groove by plundering over 600 runs in just 14 innings. Maintaining a prolific batting average of 48.07, the youngster also ran riot with an astonishing strike rate of 163.61. He even mounted his career-best score of 124 in the season, doing so against Mumbai Indians in just 62 deliveries at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
With an exact haul of 625 runs with a century and five additional fifty-plus scores, Yashasvi Jaiswal finished fifth on the ‘Orange Cap’ race of IPL 2023. Jaiswal sustained his prolific touch with the bat the following season as he minted another 435 runs in 15 innings at a strike rate of nearly 156.
