The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 is done and dusted and the Mumbai Indians held their nerves to clinch their second title in three seasons. The tournament was filled with lots of ups and downs and while MI deservingly won the title, defending champions RCB not qualifying for the playoffs was a major shocker.

Their batters failed to live up to the hype and the bowlers looked completely lost as the Smriti Mandhana led side crashed in the group stage itself. With RCB crashing out so early in the tournament, we look at 3 of their players who flopped in the competition.

1) Smriti Mandhana

This was a tournament to forget for the RCB skipper as she scored two fifties in the competition, but one of them came when the side got knocked out. RCB's batting was heavily dependant on Mandhana and her fiery starts, but that never happened as she got out cheaply in most of the matches and that put the pressure on Ellyse Perry.

In 8 matches, she could only score 197 runs, at an average of 24.62 and a strike-rate of 136.80. Had Mandhana fired in most of the matches, RCB's situation would have been different.

2) Renuka Singh Thakur

The India and RCB's leader of the attack, Renuka Singh Thakur had her best WPL season so far, but for a player of her calibre, this wasn't anything extraordinary. When RCB needed wickets from her, Renuka failed to produce them.

In 7 matches, she did take 10 wickets, but most of them were tail-enders and she disappeared in crunch situations as RCB lost several matches from a winning position. The team management showed a lot of trust in her, but apart from the game against Delhi Capitals, it wasn't all that great from her.

3) Dani Wyatt

Strike-rate125.68

RCB fans were ecstatic when Dani Wyatt was bought for the upcoming season, but that optimism soon turned into negative thoughts as the opening batter failed to deliver the goods. She played just 6 matches and could only rack up 137 runs, with just fifty-plus score as RCB failed to get solid starts in most of their matches.

She has been superb for England in the T20I format, but the batter failed to replicate the same form and the franchise took a massive hit.
