Sikandar Raza To Play 'This' Pakistan Origin Cricketer? ZIM's Probable XI For 1st T20I Vs IND

Sikandar Raza is all set to lead a young Zimbabwe team against Shubman Gill's India in the five-match T20I series, and would be itching to get off to a winning start and make a statement. Like Zimbabwe, India are also a young team, and it would be interesting to see how things unfold in the first game.

The captain, Sikandar Raza is no doubt a critical player in the team with his all-round skills, but other players have to step up. Innocent Kaia along with Tadiwanashe Marumani will open the innings and the onus will be on them to give a good start.

Zimbabwe's Middle Order and Antum Naqvi's Conundrum

Wessly Madhevere, one of the most talented batters in Zimbabwe cricket, will bat at 3, while Dion Mayers is likely to follow him at number 4. Antum Naqvi, the Belgium-born cricketer to Pakistani parents is also included in the squad, but his participation is still in doubt due to some citizenship issues.

So, he might miss the first T20I, but it is the bowling department of Zimbabwe that will have to take more responsibility in this series. The likes of Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava are proven performers, and if they can fire with the ball, Zimbabwe can surely give Shubman Gill and company some tough time.
