The IPL 2025 mega auction turned out to be quite an interesting event, with some surprises buys throughout the course of two matches. All the teams have done quite well, and it promises to be another thrilling IPL season with plenty of star players and young players looking to impress in the biggest franchise league in the world.

Marcus Stoinis To Open With Prabhsimran Singh
Marcus Stoinis mainly bats in the middle order in T20Is, but he has opened in BBL for Melbourne Stars in the past. He has great record as well at the top of the order, and so Ponting may used him as opener alongside Prabhsimran Singh. The Indian youngster is an aggressive batter and has done decently for PBKS in the past.
Captain Shreyas Iyer And Maxwell Form A Powerful Middle Order
Shreyas Iyer, the leader will bat at 3 and it is a perfect position for him to control of the game. At number will be Glenn Maxwell who can destroy bowling attacks while the Indian stars like Nehal Wadhera and Shashank Singh will follow him. Both are quality batters and have the ability to up the ante whenever their team needs it. There is an option of Josh Inglis, Azmatullah Omarzai and Aaron Hardie too, and one of them can be used as Impact Player when the team needs to boost their batting.
Arshdeep Singh And Yuzvendra Chahal Comprise Strong Bowling Attack
Marco Jansen is a quality bowler and a handy batter too. He can be used as a finisher as well and can deliver with the ball with new as well as old ball. Harpreet Brar also is a handy all-rounder and provides the control with his left-arm spin while the addition of Chahal gives them a genuine all-conditions wicket-taking bowler.
Arshdeep Singh though remains a key figure with his skills to deliver in crunch situations and Kuldeep Sen will be the second Indian seamer in the side. Lockie Ferguson and Xavier Bartlett can be used as Impact Players if needed to strengthen the bowling attack and overall PBKS have all bases covered.
