Karachi Kings will be aiming to snap their two-game losing streak this PSL 2024 season when they go up against table-toppers Multan Sultans on February 3. Under Shan Masood, they recently sustained narrow defeats at the hands of Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United to slip to number five on the PSL 2024 points table.

Ahead of their much-awaited contest against Multan Sultans, here is a look at the probable playing XI of the Karachi Kings team.

Karachi Kings senior man Shoaib Malik chewed up 20 deliveries to score just 12 runs against Quetta Gladiators a couple of days ago in Karachi. The 42-year-old also failed to keep up with the scoring rate against Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi earlier in the tournament.

Despite his repeated failures with the bat, Malik will likely retain his place in the Karachi Kings playing XI for their game against Multan Sultans.

Captain Shan Masood will continue to open the innings with wicketkeeper-batsman Tim Seifert. Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik will helm the team’s middle-order alongside Englishman James Vince, Mohammad Nawaz, West Indies legend Kieron Pollard, and young Pakistan all-rounder Irfan Khan.

Hasan Ali, Anwar Ali and Blessing Muzarabani will lead the Karachi Kings’ pace attack and Zahid Mahmood will serve as the leading spinner of the playing XI.
