Multan Sultans slumped to a narrow defeat at the hands of Peshawar Zalmi on February 23. Even though the outcome halted their three-game winning streak, Mohammad Rizwan and co. continue to occupy the top spot on the PSL 2024 points table.

Multan Sultans will now face an unbeaten Quetta Gladiators team in match number 11 of the tournament. Ahead of the much-awaited contest, here is a look at the probable playing XI for Multan Sultans.

Multan Sultans probable XI for PSL 2024 clash vs Quetta Gladiators

Multan Sultans young fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani will likely be retained in the playing XI for their match against the Quetta Gladiators, even though the speedster has managed to claim just one wicket throughout his three appearances so far this season.

With Shahnawaz on the brink of receiving another opportunity in the XI, captain Mohammad Rizwan is set to field pretty much the same line-up for their upcoming match. Rizwan will open the innings with in-form Yasir Khan, who scored an attacking 43 in the previous match.

Overseas stars Reeza Hendricks and Dawid Malan as well as Khusdil Shah will constitute the team’s middle-order, while hard-hitting star all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed will helm the slog overs of the innings.

Spinner Usama Mir and England-based fast bowler David Willey can both slog a few in the death overs. Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Ali will join Willey and struggling Shahnawaz Dahani in the playing XI to form Multan Sultans’ fast bowling quartet.
