The injury occurred during a clash against Islamabad United on February 20, forcing Stone to exit the game prematurely after bowling just 3.4 overs and conceding 28 runs.

This incident has led the Sultans, who are currently leading the points table with six points from three consecutive victories, to search for a suitable replacement to maintain their winning momentum.

Stone, who was initially brought in as a replacement for Reece Topley, another English pacer who withdrew from the tournament, will no longer be part of the PSL 9 roster due to this unfortunate injury.

The Sultans are now faced with the challenge of filling the void left by not one, but two crucial players, as they prepare for their upcoming matches, including a highly anticipated game against Peshawar Zalmi.
