Rohit Sharma To Replace Shivam Dube With Sanju Samson? IND's Probable Playing XI Vs USA

The T20 World Cup 2024 is turning out to be quite an interesting tournament, and in the 25th match, we have the hosts United States Of America taking on India. Both the teams have won their two games so far, and would be looking to seal their spot in Super 8, with another win. 

India are obviously favourites to get over the line again, but USA have played some brilliant cricket so far, and are coming into this game on the back of a stunning victory against Pakistan. So, India cannot afford to take them lightly, and it would be interesting to see their combination in this game.

The pitch at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York has assisted pacers so far, and so India would persist with all their three pacers with Hardik Pandya playing a big role as a fourth seamer. 

The two left-arm spinning all-rounders - Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav have not played a big role so far, and there is a possibility of bringing in Kuldeep Yadav in place of one of them. However, with pitch being difficult to bat, India would like to keep their batting deep and that means, Kuldeep would have to wait a bit longer.

Top four are settled with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli opening, Pant at 3 and Suryakumar Yadav at number 4 in normal situations. However, with Shivam Dube looking out of sorts in the last game and even before that,  Sanju Samson might get a game in his place. Dube though, might get atleast one more chance to prove his worth as the conditions have been difficult to bat, and no batter has really scored big.

 Rest of the team is likely to remain the same, and let's see how Rohit Sharma and his boys go about their business against an USA unit that has shown some great character in this home World Cup.
