On Wednesday, India will take on Afghanistan in the final T20I of the three-match series against Afghanistan. The high-voltage clash will take place at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Regarding India, the Rohit Sharma-led unit emerged victorious on two consecutive occasions, riding on spectacular all-round performances from Shivam Dube. The swashbuckling southpaw has left no stone unturned in making the most of his national recall, amassing blistering fifties besides scalping crucial wickets in both games.

However, amid India's dominance, what has caught attention is Rohit Sharma's poor form with the bat. The explosive opener has recorded two consecutive ducks, and fans, as well as experts, expect him to rest for this dead rubber.

But, as India don't have back-up skippers in Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah, we expect Rohit to play in this game. It will also allow him to get some T20I runs under his belt before the all-important World Cup.

Therefore, we expect India's top four to remain unchanged, with Rohit and Jaiswal opening the batting and Virat Kohli and Shivam Dube following them.

Meanwhile, as India have won the series, they might consider giving Sanju Samson some game time by replacing Jitesh Sharma with him. The swashbuckling duo of Rinku Singh and Axar Patel will likely bat at number six and seven, respectively, with Washington Sundar following them at eight.

Meanwhile, ace spinner Kuldeep Yadav could replace Ravi Bishnoi for the last game in order to get some match practice.
