After routing Afghanistan in the first two T20Is, Indian players arrived in Bengaluru for the series-concluding third match a couple of days before the contest. Captain Rohit Sharma and a number of his teammates, including Shubman Gill, Mukesh Kumar, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav, among others, were all spotted making their way out of the airport, where they were greeted by an eagerly awaiting section of ardent Indian cricket fans.
On January 15, i.e., a couple of days before India’s third and final T20I match against Afghanistan, several ‘Men in Blue’ players, including captain Rohit Sharma, were spotted arriving in Bengaluru.
Before making their way to the team hotel, the players received a warm welcome from a huge section of Indian cricket fans at the airport.

The Indian team, under Rohit Sharma, outclassed Afghanistan in the first two T20Is to seal their three-match series with a game to spare.
Star all-rounder Shivam Dube helped India overhaul Afghanistan totals with clinical run-chase knocks on both occasions, and he received much assistance from Jitesh Sharma in the series opener at Mohali and from opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal in the second game at Indore.
The series also saw the returns of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli back into India’s T20I setups, considering the fixtures serve as a testing ground for the ‘Men in Blue’ on their path towards the forthcoming 2024 T20 World Cup.
While Kohli celebrated his return with a sizzling 29 at Indore, captain Sharma failed to open his account in each of the two innings played out in the series so far.
The third T20I between Afghanistan and hosts India is set to be hosted at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on January 17.
