Several of the Indian Premier League (IPL) stars are currently in Australia, playing in the 5-match Test series. All the big IPL names like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah are featuring in the tour Down Under as the Indian side aim for a third successive away series win there.

The third Test at the Gabba is taking place at the moment, and with 5 innings done and dusted for the Indian side, there have been some players, who have been outstanding and have done exceptionally well in the ongoing tour. However, there have been some big names, who are yet to justify themselves and have so far, flopped on the tour.

In this article, we'll talk about three big IPL names who have so far flopped in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Series.

3) Rohit Sharma

It has been a tour to forget for Rohit Sharma, both as a captain and as a batter. He missed the first Test due to the birth of his child, but came back just in time for the Pink-Ball Test match. However, in the three innings so far, Rohit Sharma, the Mumbai Indians player has produced a flop show.

In three innings, he has accumulated scores of 3, 6, and 10 and has looked a pale shadow of himself, so much so that Rohit has become the bunny of opposition captain, Pat Cummins. In the last two innings, Cummins has dismissed Rohit with utmost ease as the India captain is still looking for answers.

2) Virat Kohli

Now, here me out, Virat Kohli did score a hundred in the Perth Test, but by his standards, this season has been a flop show. He couldn't do much in the first innings of the Perth Test, but scored a brilliant ton in the second innings.

However, it was followed by strings of low scores in Adelaide Test and the first innings at Gabba as doubts have been raised on Kohli's technique and his temperament in Test cricket. He still has two more Tests to redeem himself, but is it too late now?.

1) Rishabh Pant

Prior to the Test series, Rishabh Pant had an average of 62 against the Aussies, but it has dipped below the 60-run mark as he has not done anything significant in the first three Tests. His scores read - 37, 1, 21, 28, and 9. 96 runs in just 5 innings is well below Pant's standards.

He used to demolish the Aussie attacks with ease, but in this series, the newest LSG signing has failed to deliver the goods as the Australian bowlers, particularly Pat Cummins has come up with a well-oiled plan.
