Delhi Capitals are in the middle of yet another mediocre season and will be going into the 26th game of IPL 2024 against LSG with only win in their five matches. They were plundered for 234 runs in their last game and have made plenty of changes throughout the season, but very few things have worked form.

Their opponents LSG are coming into this game on the back of three consecutive wins, and would be looking to boost their standings further with another win. So, what can be the combination for DC that can stop LSG juggernaut at Lucknow? Let's find out.

Prithvi Shaw has looked good after being ignored initially, and played a fine knock of 66 in the last game. He will partner David Warner and at number 3, Abishek Porel batted well in the last game with 41 off 31 balls. 

However, Rishabh Pant might be tempted to promote himself at number 3, which will give him ample time to create greater impact, just like he did against CSK.

Porel can bat at 4, while Tristan Stubbs who impressed one and all with 75 off just 25 balls in the last game, will be a key asset in the middle and death overs. The likes of Axar Patel, Lalit Yadav and Kumar Kushagra have the quality to deliver in the death overs, and on paper, they do have a good batting arsenal.

Their bowling though has been a worry and with Mukesh Kumar not expected to get fit for this game either, they need rest of the bowlers to execute their skills better. Anrich Nortje especially has been very expensive and if he gets it right, things can be lot better for DC in this game.
