Delhi Capitals' explosive finisher Tristan Stubbs continued his dream run in the ongoing Indian Premier League season, smashing a belligerent fifty in his side's fifth group-stage fixture against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. 

Coming down the order, Stubbs played a magnificent knock, helping the Capitals put up a fight against the five-time champions. 

Although he played several scintillating shots, Stubbs' audacious reverse scoop shot off Akash Madhwal grabbed the fans' attention. 

The incident occurred during the 17th over of DC's innings when they needed someone to switch the gears and help them get over the line. Stubbs took the responsibility and played the aggressor's role to perfection, hammering Madhwal for three consecutive boundaries. 

It was a full length ball from Madhwal, with Stubbs stunning him with a magnificent reverse scoop shot. His incredible shot reminded fans of the legendary AB De Villiers, who used to play such unbelievable shots all around the park. 

The swashbuckling South African batter finished on a blistering 25-ball 71*, although he couldn't help DC clinch a victory. Chasing a massive target of 236 runs, the visitors ended up scoring 205, losing the game by a 29-run margin.
