Despite the defeat, several Men in Blue players shone and displayed the talent that they too can make it to the biggest stage.
Thus, this article will shed light on three India U-19 players, who can make it to the big stage.
1. Nikhil Kumar
The left-hand batter came to bat when India were 51/3. The wickets kept tumbling at the opposing end, while Nikhil showed resilience and amassed 67 (77), which featured 6 fours and three sixes.
He showed glimpses of Yuvraj Singh, not only in his batting style but impressed the critics with his understanding of the game and the temperament to finish the game.
2. Ayush Mhatre
Ayush, who impressed MS Dhoni, a few weeks ago with his talent, could not score big with the bat, but his small innings were enough to get an understanding of the potential and talent he possesses.
Notably, Ayush scored just 20 (14), but featured five beautiful boundaries, leaving the critics impressed with this technique and shot selection. If not with the bat, he possesses all-round abilities and took two crucial wickets with the ball.
3. Samarth Nagaraj
The Indian bowlers were hit for runs across the Dubai International Stadium, but Samarth Nagaraj was an exception as he took three wickets, the most by an Indian bowler in the recently concluded match.
Notably, Nagaraj registered a spell of 45/3 in his 10 overs and also had the best economy after Ayush Mhatre. India will next face Japan and UAE in their group stage to qualify further.
