For the 13th match of the T20 World Cup 2024, the caravan moves to Nassau Cricket Stadium in New York, which is all set to host Canada and Ireland on June 7. 

Both teams will play their second game of the tournament and are coming fresh off defeats in their previous match. Talking about the Nassau Stadium, it is a modular stadium specially prepared for the ongoing World Cup as the USA is hosting the ICC event for the very first time. 

Nassau County Stadium will host eight group stage games, while two matches have already been played at this venue.

In the first two matches at this venue, the surface proved tricky for the batters as none of the teams managed to cross the three-figure score. In the first match between South Africa and Sri Lanka, the Asian side tumbled for just 77 runs. Meanwhile, Ireland, batting first against India, posted just 96 runs on the board.
