Quetta Gladiators tasted their first defeat in the Pakistan Super League 2024 against the table toppers Multan Sultans in Multan.

Despite this defeat, the Rilee Rossouw-led Quetta Gladiators are sitting at the second position on the points table with three wins out of their first four games.

To regain the winning momentum after their defeat in the last game, Quetta Gladiators will be looking to strengthen their batting line-up and might also leave out the bowlers with a poor performance this season.

Mohammad Amir has been a terrific left-arm seamer in the cricket world but has been leaking too many runs and has picked just four wickets in the ongoing PSL 2024, which might prove costly for the Gladiators as the tournament has reached its halfway stage.

As there are still six games to go, Quetta Gladiators might give their premier seamer Amir a last chance due to his experience and Mohammad Hasnain's poor form.

On the other hand, the batting department has been doing a pretty great job, whether it is about setting the target or chasing the totals. So the captain, Rilee Rossouw, might retain the same players as the previous game.

Jason Roy and Saud Shakeel will kickstart the innings with Khawaja Nafay at number three, and the captain Rossouw will provide his hammering skills in the middle overs.

Sajjad Ali will continue to bat at number five, with Sherfane Rutherford giving the finishing touch.

With a possible last chance to Mohammad Amir, the Gladiators will come into this game with the same bowling attack as the previous one.
