South Africa, having secured their place in the Super 8, will face Nepal in their final group-stage match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 at Arnos Vale Stadium in St. Vincent on June 15, 2024.

South Africa with the significant contribution from the bowlers showcased their prowess as they defended a modest total of 113 runs against Bangladesh in their previous game in New York, marking their third win of the tournament.

South Africa's Major Concern

However, their batting has been a concern. Despite their victories, their batters have struggled on the challenging pitches in New York. As they move to St. Vincent, where the pitch is expected to be more conducive to batting, there is hope for a revival in their batting performance.

Players like Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen will look to capitalize on the more favourable conditions to find their rhythm against Nepal's relatively inexperienced bowling attack. Quinton de Kock, who has been out of form, is likely to be replaced by Ryan Rickelton in the playing XI.

David Miller has been a reliable performer in the lower middle order, with notable contributions of an unbeaten 59 against the Netherlands and 29 against Bangladesh.

Reeza Hendricks is expected to open the batting with Ryan Rickelton, aiming to provide a solid start during the powerplay overs.

In the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada may be rested due to lack of form, with Gerald Coetzee likely to take his place against Nepal.

Overall, South Africa's stronger squad and experience give them an advantage in this match, and they will look to build momentum heading into the Super 8 stage.
