The Dolphins will be playing against the Panthers in the third match of the Champions Cup 2024. This match will be played at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on September 18 at 3:30 PM IST.

This will be the first match for the Dolphins in this tournament. The Saud Shakeel-led side has some great names in their side. While the Dolphins will be playing their first game of the tournament, the Panthers have already started their campaign with a defeat. They faced a heavy defeat against the Markhors in the tournament. The Shadab Khan-led side will be looking to bounce back and keep themselves alive in the race for the trophy.

The pitch at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad looked flat, helping the batters play their shots freely and get full value for their shots. In the first two matches, especially during the first innings under the sun the batters dominated the clashes. However, the new ball bowlers did get a bit of assistance from the track under the lights, and we can expect much of the same in this game.

In the first two games of the tournament, the track looked better for batting in the first innings. With the sun out, the track looked like a belter, and there was not much moisture on the track for the bowlers. However, under the lights, the story changed a bit. The new ball bowlers got movement off the track during the second innings. So, the captain winning the toss might look to bat first.
