West Indies earned a massive victory against Uganda in the 18th match of the T20 World Cup 2024. The co-hosts of the tournament bundled out the winners of the African qualifiers for the joint lowest total in the history of the tournament and won the match by a massive margin of 134 runs.
The home team started of by winning the toss and deciding to bat first. It was not a completely dominating show with the bat by the West Indian batters as they struggled a bit in the initial stages to get off the blocks. However, Andre Russell played a cameo at the end of the innings and helped the team reach a respectable total of 173/5 in their 20 overs.
