Senior Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav is set to reprise his role for his franchise in their upcoming IPL 2025 game against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). After undergoing a lacklustre T20I series with the bat against England last month, the prolific right-hander punched out a couple of notable knocks against CSK and Gujarat Titans.

Suryakumar is now primed to scale a slew of huge batting records and milestones through his upcoming venture against KKR at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Monday, March 31. Here’s a look at the list of all records the 34-year-old Indian batter can break in the game.

1. On The Verge Of 8,000 T20 Runs

Suryakumar Yadav needs just 20 more runs to complete 8,000 runs in T20 cricket. In doing so, he will become only the fifth Indian cricketer after Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina to scale the landmark figure. The senior Indian batter is currently sitting on a pile of 7,980 runs from 287 innings at an average of 34.10.

2. 800 Fours In T20s

Suryakumar Yadav needs just eight more boundaries to complete 800 fours in the T20 format. The seasoned T20 campaigner has struck 793 fours so far in his career from 287 innings. In doing so, he will become the fourth Indian cricketer to achieve the feat after Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.

3. 350 Sixes In T20s

In addition, Suryakumar Yadav needs just three sixes to complete 350 maximums in T20s. Only two cricketers, namely Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, have hit more maximums than Suryakumar has tallied in his career so far.

4. 2 Fours Away From 550 Fours

Suryakumar Yadav has struck 548 fours in all the T20 matches he has played in India so far. If he manages to hit two more boundaries in the match against KKR, the senior Mumbai Indians batter will complete 550 fours in his home country.

5. 2 Sixes Away From 250 Sixes

Much like his impending boundary milestone, Suryakumar Yadav is also approaching a huge six-hitting record. At the moment, he needs just two more maximums to complete 250 sixes in T20 matches in India. Overall, he has struck 347 sixes in his T20 career so far.

6. 12 Fours Away From 400 Boundaries In IPL

Suryakumar Yadav has belted 388 fours in his 152-match IPL career. If he manages to hit 12 more fours, he will become only the 14th cricketer in IPL history to complete 400 boundaries in the history of the tournament. Among Indian players, he is ranked tenth behind Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir, Ajinkya Rahane, Robin Uthappa, Dinesh Karthik and KL Rahul.
