3 Players Lucknow Super Giants Can Retain Before IPL 2025 Mega Auction

One of the two newest teams of the leagues, the Lucknow Super Giants have had a decent run in the tournament so far. They made it to the top four in their first two editions under the leadership of KL Rahul and Gautam Gambhir. However, IPL 2024 did not go was planned for LSG. A few changes in the leadership roles and the lack of form of the players, all these combined in resulting in their worst finish in the history of the tournament so far. 

Moving ahead the LSG management will be looking to build a strong a team during the IPL 2025 mega auction. They will try and maintain a core while moving ahead. Here are three players, that LSG might retain ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction. 


1.Nicholas Pooran

This West Indian keeper-batter has been pretty consistent for the LSG over these three years. Nicholas Pooran has established himself as an important part of the batting line-up by playing some game changing knocks. Besides, Pooran is probably one of the best batters in this format. So, when you have a talent like that at your disposal, in all probabilities you will not let him go. 

2. Mayank Yadav

The young Indian pacer set IPL 2024 fire with his sheer pace. Though Mayank Yadav got injured after the first couple of games, his consistency in line and length along with the pace impressed everyone. LSG have scouted a rare talent who now needs proper guidance and grooming. The management will be looking to train him properly and convert him into a prized asset for the team in the near future. There are very little chances that LSG will let go off such a player who can evolve to be one of their biggest match-winners. 

3. Ravi Bishnoi

The young Indian spinner has become one of the leaders of  LSG's bowling. Ravi Bishnoi has also gradually evolved to be one of the best spinners of the format in the country. The team that LSG will be forming now, will have Bishnoi as one of the core members. The management will probable retain him and make him one of the leaders of the bowling unit.
