Mumbai Indians are experiencing their worst season since the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008. Even if they finished at the bottom of the table in 2022, there weren't many rumours about the poor dressing room handling like it is this season.

However, after replacing Hardik Pandya with Rohit Sharma as captain, nothing seems to be going according to plan for Mumbai Indians. They are playing not good as usual MI levels and rumors about bad dressing room handling are surrounding them.

With seven defeats already in the league stage, MI's second last defeat against Delhi Capitals has intensified rumours about the dressing room atmosphere.

Following the loss to Delhi at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Hardik Pandya publicly blamed Tilak Varma for the team's failure to chase down 258 runs.

Despite Tilak Varma scoring a fifty, MI's innings ended at 247 runs. Pandya criticized Varma for not being aggressive against left-arm spinner Axar Patel, adding to the growing tension within the team.

Did Tilak-Hardik fight?

Reports have emerged about the clash between MI skipper Hardik Pandya and young talent Tilak Varma following the team's loss to DC. Hardik's public criticism of Tilak Varma didn't sit well with the young batter, leading to a confrontation.

According to a tweet from a popular X account, Rohit Sharma intervened and resolved the issue between the MI skipper and Tilak.

However, as confirmed by the sources, no such episode occurred between MI captain Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma. Thus, this is false allegation.
