Making heads turn on social media is a cryptic post by Anushka Sharma on her Instagram profile, who is the wife of prominent Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Anushka's Instagram story has everyone hooked as it talks about the different versions of a person, indicating towards Kohli's remarks in their recent interview.

Anushka Sharma Goes Deep With A Cryptic Post On Social Media

Indian actor and model Anushka Sharma, also the wife of Indian veteran cricketer Virat Kohli, has posted a cryptic message on her Instagram profile indicating the different versions of a person.

Talking about the different versions, Anushka referred to the fact that each person is viewed differently by each individual in everyone's mind.

“A different version of you exists in the minds of everyone who knows you. The person you think of as ‘yourself’ only exists for you, and even you don’t really know who that is. Every person you meet, have a relationship with, or make eye contact on the street with, creates a version of ‘you’ in their heads,”

She further added that even for every family member, each person is a different individual, regardless of the fact that they live together or are bonded in a different manner.

“You’re not the same person to your mom, your dad, your siblings than you are to your co-workers, your neighbors or your friends. There are a thousand different versions of yourself out there, in people’s minds. A ‘you’ exists in each version and yet your ‘you’, ‘yourself’ isn’t really a ‘someone’ at all.”

Virat Kohli Shares Disappointment In Recent Interview

In their recent interview conducted by RCB's (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) Innovation Lab, the Indian Sports Summit on Sunday, Kohli did not shy away from expressing his disappointment that players can no longer travel with their wives and partners freely on international tours.

Speaking during the event, Kohli commented that it was not ideal for them to have this situation, referring to the BCCI diktat which was previously enforced on the players beginning with the Champions Trophy 2025.

“It's very difficult to explain to people how grounding it is to just come back to your family every time you have something which is intense, which happens on the outside,”

Moreover, the right-hander went on to add that every time a player or individual fails to perform, it is always the conversation that the partners need to be done away with during the tours, which is something really frustrating as an individual, considering they are a strong pillar of strength for most people.

“I don't think people have an understanding of what value it brings to a large extent. And I feel quite disappointed about that because it's like people who have no control over what's going on are kind of brought into conversations and put out at the forefront that, 'oh, maybe they need to be kept away'.”

The BCCI diktat, which revealed a strict travel policy, mentioned that players can only be joined by partners if the international tour is more than 45 days long, allowing only one visit for the partners. However, it is still just an assumption that the message Anushka shared had anything to do with Kohli's interview, considering both of them coincide with each other at some point.
