As the cricket world is all excited for the upcoming five-match Test series vs England, India faced a horrific moment last week. A London-bound Air India flight crashed near Ahmedabad, resulting in 241 lives lost.

Pant’s Emotional Tribute To The Ahmedabad Tragedy

After a long break, the Red Ball Thrills are coming up to entertain fans. But last week, the entire world was shocked by the horrific plane crash. A London-bound Air India flight crashed soon after taking off, causing 241 deaths. The heartbreaking incident marked one of the darkest days in aviation history.

After the incident, the entire cricket world came together to share the grief. According to The Times Of India, Rishabh Pant added his voice to the chorus, vowing that Team India will give their all to bring smiles back to the nation.

“The whole country is disheartened. What we can do is put our best foot forward & make the country happy,” Pant said.

What Will Be Team India’s Playing XI For The First Test?

After Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s retirement, Team India is set to play their first Test match under Shubman Gill’s leadership. As the Test match is on the way, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal are expected to open the innings. But all eyes are on the number 3 spot. While Sai Sudharsan is a strong option, Karun Nair has become a strong contender after his recent performance for India A.

With Rohit and Kohli gone, captain Shubman Gill and vice-captain Rishabh Pant are ready to take on big roles. Pant confirmed that he and Gill will likely bat at numbers 4 and 5. However, nothing is confirmed yet, and fans are waiting for Team India’s playing XI for the first Test match.
