Virat Kohli has retired from Tests but continues to be a big part of debates among the cricketing fraternity. There are many people who still believe that Virat Kohli could have added more value to the Test side, while there are some who believe that it is the right time for youngsters to take the baton forward.

The  young brigade so far has shown good temperament and skills in the Headingley Test and it has raised confidence in the team's ability to take Indian cricket forward. The former Indian cricketer and a reputed commentator, Sanjay Manjrekar, also has expressed his satisfaction with how India have gone about their business in the first Test. He also made headlines on the opening day when he referred indirectly towards Virat Kohli's problem around the off-stump line while praising KL Rahul.

Manjrekar added that there are quite a lot of incentives for young cricketers to take up cricket, and thus, all the worries regarding the future of the game after Virat Kohli or fab-four are just the product of irrational fear.

"Cricket is a by far the no 1 sport in India. There is tremendous incentive for young kids to take up cricket. Hence ‘What after fab 4, or what after Virat’ is an irrational fear. "

The former cricketer's comments are more focused on the rich health of cricket in India. However, the inclusion of Virat Kohli's name in his post is likely to garner attention again, and fans might consider it as an insult of their idol.
