Nothing can match Virat Kohli’s unwavering energy, as it keeps increasing with time. The 35-year-old, who is in the USA for India’s campaign at the T20 World Cup 2024, finally broke silence about what exactly goes through his mind whenever he is on the field.
It is no surprise that Kohli kept getting asked the same question regarding his energy’s secret. The talismanic batter, in a recent interview, told the interviewer exactly that, and then he went on to add whenever he is on the field for any sort of competition or training session, he ‘arrives at 120%.
"Lots of people ask the question very regularly how do you have so much energy. I tell them I arrive to competition at 120%, I never arrive at 75%," Kohli said.

Kohli arrived late in the USA for the T20 World Cup, which will get underway on June 2 with the hosts USA taking on Canada in Dallas. He will be in action under Rohit Sharma, who suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the ODI World Cup final at home when they went up against Australia at Narendra Modi Stadium last year.
It is important to note that Kohli has been named the Player of the tournament twice in T20 World Cups, in 2014 and 2016.
