Ahead of IPL 2024 season, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) skipper, Pat Cummins, stated that he wants the team to play in an aggressive manner, and wants his side to play with confidence.

Fair to say that the team has lived up to the expectations and have twice broken the record of the highest score in IPL history.

What happened in the RCB-SRH clash

They smashed a record-breaking 277 against a lacklustre Mumbai Indians, a couple of days ago and followed it up by smashing their own record by hammering 287 against the RCB team at the Chinnaswamy stadium.

The assault was led by Travis Head, who smashed a 39-ball century and was amply supported by Heinrich Klaasen and Abdul Samad, who churned out valuable contributions.

Despite a valiant 83 off 25 by Dinesh Karthik, RCB fell short of the target and were restricted to 262/7.

Following the game, SRH skipper Cummins reflected on the win and stated that he wants every IPL team to be scared of them, showcasing the confidence with which SRH are playing.

"I keep saying this all the time, that's how we want to play (aggressive cricket). It's not going to work every game, but I can tell you everyone's terrified when they come against us, and we got to blow some teams out of the water, before they've even walked out on the field."

With the win over RCB, SRH have strengthened their position in the top-4. They sit at the 4th position with 8 points in their bag. They next play against Delhi Capitals on April 20.
