Ahead of the pivotal ODI series against South Africa, skipper KL Rahul addressed the media through an official press conference. The wicketkeeper batter spoke about a lot of the team’s combination-related issues.
One of the many aspects discussed widely by Rahul was Rinku Singh’s future on the national side. The KKR star has been making waves ever since his debut while peaking during the recently concluded T20 series against Australia.

"Yes, he has shown what a really good player he is. we all know that watching him in the IPL that he is very skilled. But what has been really good to see is his temperament, game awareness and calmness under pressure in the T20I series. That's very refreshing to see for me and yes, he will be getting his opportunities in the ODI series." Rahul said to the press.
That being said, Rinku Singh is yet to make his debut in the 50-over format. Nonetheless, with the veterans sitting the South African white ball series out, the explosive batter will earn a chance to unleash his unwavering hard-hitting skills.
