 "l am so grateful to this crowd. They have been so amazing. Thank you guys for being there for us through all our ups and downs. Credit goes to everyone, our cricket team, BCCI, the selectors and everyone back home,” Harmanpreet said.

Harmanpreet on Shafali’s game-changing spell

Harmanpreet Kaura also shed her views on the tactical move to introduce Shafali Verma into the attack as a pivotal moment in the final. She explained that the decision was based on instinct and trust in Shafali’s ability, and also because of her earlier heroics with the bat, a move that shifted momentum and proved decisive in India’s victory.

“Yeah, I mean when Laura and Sune were batting, they were looking good. saw Shafali standing there, the way she batted, I knew it was her day. I wanted to give at least one over to her, my heart was saying that. She always wanted to bowl for the team. I think that was the turning point for us,” Harmanpreet added.
