India's newest T20I skipper, Suryakumar Yadav, has expressed his desire to be able to represent India in all three formats after the Men In Blue's most recent success in T20Is against Sri Lanka.

SKY's next challenge is a crucial one, as he's set to play a pivotal role for Mumbai in the prestigious Buchi Babu Invitational multi-day tournament this year.

Test specialist Sarfaraz Khan has been named the captain of the Mumbai side, and Suryakumar, who has also led the domestic giants in the past, will be featured as a player since he wants to be featured in all formats.

Surya described the tournament as good practice for the upcoming red ball tournaments and said:

"My goal is to play for India in all three formats, and I am fully committed to using the Buchi Babu tournament as a platform to hone my skills for the upcoming red ball tournaments this season," Suryakumar Yadav reaffirmed.

This year, the tournament will be hosted at four esteemed venues in Tamil Nadu — Tirunelveli, Salem, Coimbatore, and Natham, each with its unique cricketing charm.

Suryakumar will play in the second match for Mumbai CA XI against Tamil Nadu Cricket Association XI at Coimbatore, which will be played from August 27 to 30.
