Shaheen Afridi visits Manchester United's stadium, Old Trafford
Recently, the Pakistan speedster was spotted wearing a Manchester United Jersey, as he visited the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford, the home of the United team in England. Shaheen visited the Old Trafford as a special guest, and was also given the iconic Number 10 jersey with his name on it.
The number 10 jersey has a rich vein of history in Manchester United Football Club, with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Ruud van Nistelrroy donning it. The Football Club took to their X account and posted a photo of Shaheen with the jersey, and it also included the caption: "The Eagle has landed at Old Trafford."
Talking about Shaheen, the pace bowler was a part of the Pakistan team which crashed out of the T20 World Cup in the group stage. Shaheen picked up 5-wickets in the tournament, and was one of the standout players for his side.
His next assignment will be the upcoming two-match Test series Vs Bangladesh, starting on August 21.
