'Stay On Instagram But..', Mohammad Kaif Slams India For Fielding Blunders vs Nepal

Even though India won their match against Nepal comfortably, they were really sloppy on the field. India opted to bowl first as they wanted to give the match time to the bowlers as well to prepare for the upcoming matches.

Nepal posted a decent total of 230 courtesy of India's sloppy fielding. Within the first five overs, India dropped three easy catches. The three catches were dropped by the three best fielders of the current Indian team.

In the first over itself, on the bowling of Mohammed Siraj, Shreyas Iyer dropped an easy one at the slip. The second one was dropped by India's most experienced player of Indian team, Virat Kohli. Virat was not in balance while holding onto that catch and eventually dropped it.

While the third one was dropped by Ishan Kishan who was keeping the wickets. He completely missed the ball and it went through his hands. Well, He took a stunner after dropping one, but if these catches would have been taken then Nepal could have been bowled out under 200.

While criticising the Indian fielders, Mohammad Kaif, who was known as the best fielder in his time took a dig at the players saying that if you are fit on Instagram, be fit on the ground as well.

Here's what Mohammad Kaif said:

"You might have big biceps, you might be working out in the gym and putting great pictures on Instagram, it does not make a difference. Are you fit on the ground? Stay on Instagram but be here as well."

It is the most important mantra of cricket, Catches win matches. Dropping catches and being sloppy on the field will not work out in favour of your team. Kaif rightly said and being one of the top teams in the world, you cannot afford to be loose on field.
