Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, known for his witty remarks, is often in the news as his humour and calmness make him an engaging personality. Rohit's behaviour on and off the field is similar, ensuring he remains chill even in the most challenging circumstances.

Recently, in conversation with OneCricket's Vimal Kumar, Sharma revealed some mind-blowing secrets about himself that he hasn't really spoken about before. This includes his mindset, daily lifestyle, his wife's impact on his life, his food habits and even his favourite country to visit.

During the early phase of the interview, Rohit was asked questions about his calm demeanour, which he displays when in tense moments and how he manages to keep himself composed all the time. Also, if he has been like this in the past or it is something he has learnt.

To this, the Indian opener replied that for him, peace is everything; he does not like to be in a hurry as it complicates things a lot.

"I don't like to complicate things. Everyone used to tell me in school that I was so casual. Even when I started playing cricket, people used to tell me I was so casual, but it is not like that. I like to stay relaxed, Shanti hi mere liye sab kuch hai (Peace is everything to me). So, play with peace, live with peace and let others live with peace," Sharma said.

Later, he was asked about his dietary habits, what he likes to eat most often, and his favourite food, as people usually say celebrities like to eat in 5-star hotels. Sharma's reply was clear and straightforward: he loves to eat homemade food, especially dal rice, a staple Indian food in most homes.

"We eat Dal-Rice, it is available everywhere in the world. We eat normal food like everyone else, nothing special. Even at home, we eat this kind of food, it's our patent food. I love Dal-Rice the most, it is my favourite. Anywhere I go, I eat Dal-Rice. I have grown up eating it. I used to eat Rasam-Rice too at our home as we are South Indians," he added.

Finally, when questioned about his wife Ritika's role in his life, Rohit praised her for managing everything in his life and being very supportive.

"Ritika is very supportive and wants me to live my dream. I can't describe her contributions in my life. The way she manages and handles all small things in my life is unmatchable," the opener concluded.

Rohit's captaincy and batting will be highly crucial for India when they enter the World Cup. Hence, every fan would hope that he is at his best during the mega-event that begins on 5th October.
