The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to share an intimate glimpse into the team's journey from Mohali to Indore. The video showcased players making their way from the hotel in Mohali to the awaiting team bus and eventually to the airport.
Fans were treated to aerial shots of their journey, culminating in the warm reception the team received upon arrival in Indore. The caption simply read, "Mohali. Touchdown Indore."
Meanwhile, with the World Cup 2023 merely a fortnight away, starting on October 5 in India, the ongoing series serves as a perfect warm-up for the hosts.
The second ODI has become a golden ticket for India to seal the series against a strong Australian side, and with it, gain substantial momentum leading into the marquee event.
KL Rahul, who is at the helm for the first two ODIs, will pass the leadership baton to regular skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as the duo makes their way back into the side for the series finale.
