Shreyas Iyer is having a gala time in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) as the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders. Shreyas Iyer has had a perfect start as a captain in this ongoing IPL season winning three consecutive fixtures. 

The KKR captain is in the headlines as he recently appeared on the all-time famous 'The Kapil Sharma' Show hosted by mainstream comedian, Kapil Sharma on Netflix. He was accompanied by Indian captain Rohit Sharma along with him. 


Shreyas Iyer's Confession On Kapil Sharma Show

The dynamic batter had some interesting and funny conversations and out of them, the most highlighted was when Kapil Sharma asked Iyer whenever he hits a boundary the cameraman turns the camera towards girls holding catchy posters written 'Shreyas Marry Me!'. 

He also added "He is also a bachelor," and even asked the cricketer if later he checked with the cameraman and get information regarding the girl. 

And to this, Iyer replied and confessed that during his first IPL, he noticed a girl sitting and waved to her and he also added that this incident happened many years ago when Facebook was popular. He was also in hope to get a message from the girl and he kept the checking the social media. 

"During my first year in in IPL, I noticed a very beautiful girl sitting in the stands and I waved hello to her. This happened many years ago. At that time Facebook was very popular. I was hoping to get a message and kept checking. That is the only incident that happened to me," he replied.

In the same episode, Rohit Sharma was also talking about his wife and Shreyas Iyer also confessed that Rohit Sharma is his childhood inspiration and his motivation to pursue cricket as a career.

Kolkata Knight Riders will next play against Chennai Super Kings on April 8, 2024, at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
