Pakistan's star bowler, Sajid Khan, who hogged the internet after his heroics against England in the recently concluded Test series, has named MS Dhoni as the greatest captain. Khan, appeared on a talk show, where he heaped massive praise on the former India skipper.
The 31-year-old made his debut against Zimbabwe in 2021 and was left out of the team despite good performances. Meanwhile, Khan was recalled to the team from the 2nd Test onwards as Pakistan suffered an embarrassing defeat in the first Test and changed their plans by opting for rank-turner tracks.
Khan Opens Up On Dhoni's Calm And Cool Nature
Khan dominated the series as he took 19 wickets in the two matches he played against England. In the latest events, Khan was asked about his inspiration when it comes to captaincy, to which he heaped praise on Dhoni.
“The best captain is MS Dhoni. He is a very cool, calm and successful captain," he said.
Sajid also takes about his captaincy days and revealed that he too captained sides during his U-13 days.
Sajid Khan Opens Up On His Image Of Sacring Batters
It is worth noting that Khan has developed an image of scaring batters and in the latest events, Khan broke silence on that and replied that people get scared even if he laughs.
"Maine to kisi ko nahi daraya. Aap log kehte ho ki daraya hai. Allah ne look aisi di hai ki main hansta bhi hun to log darr jaate hain (I didn’t scare anyone, but you people keep saying this. God has given me such a look that even if I laugh, people get scared),” responded Sajid in a comic way.
Pakistan are currently playing against Australia and it is to be seen whether he will be named in the upcoming away tour to South Africa.
