The match 33 of T20 World Cup 2024 between India and Canada in Lauderhill, Florida has been delayed due to wet outfield and the official inspection is scheduled at 8 PM IST.

There has been quite a lot of rain in Florida in last few days with flash floods rocking the city, but it is not raining now, and let's hope that conditions improve soon, and we get a full 40-over game.

The good news is that players are hovering in the ground, and if it does not rain from hereon, we might get the timing for the toss and start-time of the match at the Central Broward Park Stadium, Lauderhill.

Mike Haysman from the ground has reported that the outfield is sand-based and that is not helping the ground dry up quickly either. So, let’s see how things unfold in the next few hours.  This is both India and Canada's last game of the group stage. The 'Men in Blue' have qualified for Super 8 with three consecutive wins while Canada have been knocked out along with Pakistan and Ireland from Group A.

Live Update: The inspection is underway. Sharfuddoula and Rod Tucker are having a look at the damp areas along with reserve umpire Chris Gaffaney. Meanwhile, a few of the Indian players are engaging in a game of football along with the support staff members.

There will be another official inspection at 9 PM IST (11:30 AM Local Time).
